Already a wheelchair athlete and looking for a new sport to try? Or a winter sport to play?

Not an athlete but looking to try something different?

Come try Wheelchair Curling!

Canada's curling Paralympians are some of the best curlers in the world, but even they had to start somewhere...

Find out what this sport is all about. This clinic is ideally suited for someone entirely new to the sport, or for someone's who has been out on the ice once or twice trying it with friends. Over the course of two hours, you will learn how to throw rocks, aim with deadly accuracy, and perhaps, discover a new love. Find your inner Paralympian and start curling today.

All equipment will be provided at the curling club. Dress warmly (layers are best), and bring gloves/mittens.

Discover Wheelchair Curling will start at 10am and go to 12pm. There will also be an opportunity for participants to practice and/or play a pick up game after the clinic.

Participants must be able to grip a stick and to push a 20-40lb rock without an aide’s assistance.

Cost $10 (Please contact us directly if cost is a prohibitive factor in participation.)
